Govt in talks to sell Bharat Brand items via Reliance Retail

While there have previously been short-term arrangements with ecommerce firms including Reliance’s JioMart, Amazon and BigBasket to push Bharat brand products for price stabilisation, mostly during elections, this is the first time that the government is looking at a long-term arrangement with a private retailer to sell food products from its buffer stock at subsidised prices.
