Union Budget 2025: Rs 10,000 cr boost for startups, women entrepreneurs in focus

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in the Union Budget 2025, announced measures to boost startups and small enterprises, including doubling the credit guarantee cover to Rs 20 crore, reducing guarantee fees, and setting up a new Fund of Funds with Rs 10,000 crore. Additional initiatives targeted at women and underrepresented entrepreneurs were introduced, alongside extensions to benefits under Section 80-IAC.
