SC to hear LG India's plea against EPF requirement for expat staff

The Supreme Court will hear LG Electronics India's challenge to rules requiring foreign workers in Indian companies to join the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation. LG argues this is discriminatory compared to Indian employees. The Delhi High Court had previously upheld these rules. The court has issued notices and will hear the case further on March 20.
